Who is SUPER ENOUGH to play Superman?

Well, with Christopher Nolan (Memento; The Dark Knight; Inception) producing Superman: The Man of Steel, this movie seems interesting in the worst perspective. In fact, Nolan brought some pedigree to something that I would see as a "future failure" and I'm interested about who should/could be choosen as Clark Kent. I found a website that posted the synopsis of the movie: "Clark Kent is a freelance reporter in his early 20's, traveling all around the world covering various news stories. However, Kent is forced to fly back into action to attain a fleeing assassin instead of covering an ethnic conflict between the Ghuri and Turaaba clans in West Africa. Upon his return to form, Kent returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and become the hero he was born to be."
So, I thought a little bit about it and some names came to my mind, so, let's see each one of them...

- Jake Gyllenhaal: he has already proved he can do kick-ass scenes in Prince of Persia and that he can build muscle mass, so, I think he would be a likely candidate to the role of Superman. Nolan seems to like actors which have already received some praise in their careers and Gyllenhaal is an Academy Award nominee actor that's becoming an worldwide star. But he may not look with Kent at all, which may be good in the way that it may avoid some comparations or, in a bad way, increase their number.
- Chris Pine: after the sucess of Star Trek in which Pine plays the leading role, he seems to be on fire on his career. He may not be a brilliant actor, but he does his work "OK" and he fits the description of the synopsis (he has an early 20's look). Plus, Pine is known as being a very easy to work actor and he's on rise, getting better films. So, Pine would be a good choice, if not my choice (girls love him! Can you imagine the money the producers will got if they choose him and every girl pay a ticket?).
- Henry Cavill: a contender for the previous Superman movie, Henry Cavill is well-known enough to be recognized in the posters but also a fresh face to portray Kent. In fact, Cavill's acting is good, not wonderful, but good according to his performance in The Tudors TV series. Cavill was already a contender for a lot of roles that could put him in the spotlight (James Bond in 007 franchise, Bruce Wayne in Batman franchise and Clarck Kent in Superman Returns) but he lost always the part. Will Nolan give him the role he wanted some years ago? Well, he doesn't seems bad at all, in spite of his British accent that may be a problem.
- Matthew Goode: he would have the perfect look to portray Superman, but he's very thin for the role and he's British. On the other side, he's a really decent actor and has already appeared in raved movies like Woody Allen's Match Point and Tom Ford's A Single Man and could easily portray the super-heroe... An interesting choice if the producers and the director would choose him.
- Tom Hardy: a today's rising star due to movies like Bronson and Inception, Hardy would be a smart choice for the role of Superman. He may not have a lot of similarities with Kent, but he changed a lot for Bronson and he's physically strong enough to portray Superman, besides the fact that he's a raising actor, mostly because of his participation in Christopher Nolan's (the movie's producer) latest work. The only concerns are that he doesn't seem being in his early 20's and the fact that he's British.

So, my choice for the role: Chris Pine.
Yes... he would be great with Anne Hathaway or Michelle Williams on his side. Chris Pine, definetly, because he's a raising star and it would be great for his career.
