So, the NYFCC (New York Film Critics Circle) announced their winners on Tuesday, and I’ve yet to post them here. In fact, the Spirits announced their nominees, the Gothams already had their ceremony and the NBR and Satellites are set to announce today (winners for the NBR and nominees for the Satellites). Point is, Awards Season is upon us and I’m behind the eight-ball. This isn’t uncommon. Just take a look at this blog. I’m always bitching about not posting enough here.
So, plan for today is to compile the winners/nominees for each of these bodies and self-gratify my faux cinematic intellect by pretending that I understand what this means about the one everyone ultimately cares about; Oscar.
